Cog in the wheel? Sensless remarks?
My best friends are bed wetting liberals. And soldiers too.
Really Bush and Clinton are both "progressive." Clinton was actually more conservative than Bush. Kerry is too probably. Conservatives believe in the core values of the culture they live in. They Think it's a good thing and they want it to stay that way. Liberal Conservatives try to achieve this by leaving it alone. Progressive conservatives, like the Bush Administration's Neo-Cons, believe we have to change because we have lost our way morally. They think we have let society become corrupt. On the other extreme Progressive values also range from the Lazy Fair
change happens set to the Out-with-the-old-in-with-the-new iconoclasts.
Most of the labels have lost their meaning. It takes a long hard listen to make sense out of what people say especially if they react to each other with sharpened words. Think about this then. This Internet medium is mostly words and logic, but i'm pretty sure that's oil burning that keeps the light on inside your monitor. Out here in the material world, an impoverished dialog usually does lead to a fight. Are we trying for a consensus that ensures mutal survival or duking it out with electrons while we reach for something more solid?
