TERROR ORGANIZATIONS: Basque group, Al Qaeda are both active in Spain

WASHINGTON -- Spanish officials are pointing to the Basque separatist group ETA as the likely suspect in Thursday's bombings in Madrid, but the Al Qaeda terrorist network has a long history in Spain and many reasons for targeting that country, terrorism experts say.

A vigil is being held outside the Spanish Embassy in London to mark the Madrid terror attacks on Thursday which killed 198 people.
